New social houses have been delivered in Nuneaton that will provide accommodation with four 1-bedroom apartments and four 3-bedroom family homes using modern modular housing construction techniques.
With improved insulation and energy efficiency, they will ensure that there will be reduced running costs for the houses and apartments. Environmentally friendly innovations have also been included in the development with bird boxes, bat boxes, bug hotels and hedgehog friendly fence panels.
The properties have been built on brownfield former council garage sites.
Cllr Clare Golby, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Housing and Communities, was on hand to take official receipt of the properties from the developer on behalf of the Council.
