Using land on a former under-used garage site, the Borough Council and Homes England have delivered new ultra-modern modular housing.
The eight, 1 bed-room apartments have also been built with climate change in mind and are energy efficient, which will also help the new residents keep their costs down.
Cllr Clare Golby, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Housing and Communities, said:
“This is a development of top quality and affordable homes for local people. The houses look great and feel extremely cosy. I’m delighted that the keys have now been handed over and hope that our residents enjoy their new homes.”
